Kinfire Council/ Kinfire Council – Winds of Change

Kinfire Council is a competitive game of strategy and politics. As a member of the Council, you’ve been charged with rebuilding the great city of Din’Lux and defending it from the dangers of the Starless Nights.

Take turns sending your workers to collect resources, upgrade buildings, and construct new Kinfire lighthouses in the surrounding area, while the Cult of Altan interferes with your plans and undermines your authority. You’ll vote on important city policies, arrest cultists, and dispatch your Seeker to thwart threats looming over the final bastion of civilization, the great city of Din’Lux.

While you vie for power among yourselves, you also track the Cult’s progress. If they win the game, then the Cult Conspirator ends up being the victor. Will you be a benevolent leader, working together with your fellow Council members, or will your plans take a more sinister turn?

Take the intrigue of Din’Lux to new heights with Winds of Change. This expansion introduces dynamic rezoning mechanics for legacy-style progression, new lighthouse sites, and an optional solo or co-op play mode. Fresh threats, decrees, and resources like favor tokens enrich the political drama and deepen the strategic landscape, an irresistible upgrade for engaged players and a compelling upsell for savvy retailers.

This is not a stand-alone game. Kinfire Council base game is required to play.

Remake the city of Fin’Lux with new location tiles and re-zoning decrees that evoke the game board over time. Give in to temptation and spend powerful Favor tokens to help both yourself and the Cult.

The punishing Cult decree deck will allow you and your fellow Councilors to play in co-op mode or go against the Cult in your own in solo -play.
